Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of radio Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, made his first public appearance today, May 1, after regaining freedom from Kuje maximum prison in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The IPOB leader paid a courtesy visit to former Minister of Aviation and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode at his residence in Abuja.
Fani-Kayode who stormed the Abuja division of the Federal High Court on April 25 to show support to Kanu, received the IPOB leader today alongside his siblings.
Confirming the visit on micro blogging site, Twitter, Fani-Kayode wrote: “The lion of the east meets the tiger of the west! It was a pleasure to host Nnamdi Kanu in my Abuja home today. A deeply courageous man”, Fani-Kayode tweeted.
The IPOB leader was received by Fani-Kayode, his wife Precious and convener of ‘Concerned Nigerians’, Deji Adeyanju.
