Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has sent his condolence message to the family of late Nigerian first female combat helicopter pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile.
Mustapha in a Press Release prayed for the soul of the dead, as he sent condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Chief of Air Staff, the Kogi State government and the people of Ijumu Local Government on behalf of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
He hailed the efforts of the deceased in combating armed bandits and fighting against kidnapping in the North Central, under operation GAMA AIKI.
NAF on Tuesday announced the death of Arotile with Nigerians reacting to the sad news as they described her as a shining light who has left indelible marks on Nigeria.
The young combatant died at the age of 24, after she was mistakenly hit by a friend’s vehicle at the NAF base in Kaduna.
