The downward trend of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria continues, as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 138 new infections.
The NCDC report revealed that the fresh cases which were recorded in 13 states and the F.C.T, take the total confirmed cases in the country to 53,865.
A State-by-State breakdown revealed the following; Plateau-55, Lagos-15, Ebonyi-11, Oyo-11, Abia-8, Anambra-7, FCT-7, Rivers-7, Kaduna-6, Ondo-5, Kwara-3, Bauchi-1, Benue-1 and Edo-1.
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that 199 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country, indicating 41,513 total recoveries.
Also, 2 persons died of complications on Sunday as the nation’s fatality cases hit 1,013.
