Italian Seria A giants, Inter Milan, have announced the permanent signing of Alexis Sanchez from English Premier League side, Manchester United.
The 31-year-old, who joined Inter on loan in 2019, has now joined permanently on a free transfer.
After scoring 4 goals in 31 appearances for the Italian side, the Chilean forward signed a three-year deal with the Nerazzurri until 30 June, 2023.
“FC Internazionale Milano announce that Alexis Sanchez has joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer,” a club statement said on Thursday.
“The Chilean forward has signed a permanent contract with the Club until 30 June 2023.”
Manchester United Head Coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, had confirmed the move earlier on Wednesday.
“I can confirm that Alexis will be confirmed as an Inter player on Thursday,” Solskjaer said.
“Alexis has had a good time over there, he’s a good player, so we wish him all the best.”
