Lagos has recorded its lowest incidence of COVID-19 in months as Nigeria’s 221 cases for the day increased the total tally to 53021.
Plateau State took new highs with 60 cases recorded, highest for the day amongst the 20 states that recorded at least one.
Total number of deaths from the pandemic has also increased to 1010 with discharged cases tolling 40,281.

The total number of active cases in Nigeria currently stands at 11,730, after 388,346 tests.
Lagos, the epicentre of the disease in Nigeria has had a good reduction in the incidences of COVID-19, with credits given to its response.
