Just In: Nigeria Records 325 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 48,770 With 974 Deaths

Nigeria on Saturday, 15th of August 2020 recorded 325 new COVID-19 infections.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.

This takes the total confirmed cases in the country to 48,770.

The NCDC report also revealed that 1 person died of COVID-19 complications while 292 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country the same day.

A state-by-state breakdown of the fresh cases revealed the following: Lagos-87, FCT-49, Gombe-28, Ebonyi-20, Plateau-19, Kwara-18, Enugu-17, Imo-12, Rivers-12, Kaduna-11 and Ogun-10.

Others are; Edo-9, Oyo-9, Ondo-8, Osun-8, Ekiti-4, Borno-1, Kano-1, Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.

So far, the nation has recorded 974 fatalities and 36,290 recoveries.
