Just In: Nigeria Records 453 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 47743 As Deaths Toll 956

A total of four hundred and fifty three (453) new cases were announced on Wednesday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Lagos, who has had a good slump in the number of cases in the past weeks recorded over 100 cases for the first time in weeks, as it had 113 cases.

The FCT followed Lagos with 72 cases while Plateau state which had a surge in recent days recorded 59 new cases.

There was at least one case recorded in 16 states found the country including the FCT.

While a total of 33943 patients have been discharged, 956 deaths have been recorded, six more mortalities more than the previous day’s tally.

There are 338,084 tested samples while the active cases are 12844.
