Supreme Court will rule on the Kogi State governorship election on the 31st of August as incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello faces Musa Wada of the PDP in court.
The Supreme Court panel of Justices led by Chief Justice of Nigeria, Muhammad Tanko will rule on the case.
Tanko will be joined by six other Supreme Court justices in listening to the challenge of the PDP and defence of the APC.
Bello previously defeated Wada in the Kogi governorship election tribunal and the Court of Appeal, as the courts dismissed the PDP’s candidate challenge over lack of proofs.
Bello is in his second term as governor of the state.
