Nigeria has witnessed its sharpest drop in COVID-19 cases in months as 288 new cases were recorded on Monday.
It is now 5 days of a regular decrease in number of positive cases of COVID-19.
Lagos, the epicentre of the disease recorded 88 cases on the day under review as its active cases continue to reduce.
At least one case was recorded in fourteen states across the country on the day with Abuja, Kwara, Osun, and Enugu following Lagos on the list.

As it stands, 46.8% of the total cases have recovered with death standing at 2.03%, a figure much lower than previous death rates.
Nigeria has conducted almost 300,000 tests since the first case of COVID-19 was reported.
