Photo News: Buhari Receives Letter Of Credence From Ivory Coast, Iran, Somalia, Others

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday received letters of credence from eight countries as their new ambassadors arrived the country.

The letters of credence were submitted by the ambassadors of Somalia, Chad, Tanzania, Sahrawi, Algeria, Vietnam, Ivory Coast and Iran.

Letters of Credence are official diplomatic letters that appoint a person as ambassador or High Commissioners to another country.

It is sent by one President or head of state to another to indicate that the ambassadors or high commissioners’ statements can be taken as the position of the country they represent.
