Suspected Killers Of Tolulope Arotile Released

Two suspected killers of Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot, have been released following an order pronounced by Chief Magistrate Benjamin Hassan on Thursday.

Recall that Arotile was killed on July 14, 2020, by reversing vehicle of ex-classmates who were identified as Mr Nehemiah Adejoh, Mr Igbekele Folorunsho and Mr Festus Gbayegun.

Ruling on the matter at the Kaduna State Magistrate Court 1, the 2nd and 3rd suspects (Mr Igbekele Folorunsho and Mr Festus Gbayegun) were set free based on the Police investigation, which did not find them wanting and the legal advice from the state’s Director of Public Prosecution Bayero Dari Esq, that they have no case to answer.

However, the 1st suspect (Mr Nehemiah Adejoh) will be arraigned on the 3rd of September, 2020 at the State High Court for culpable homicide not punishable with death.
