UEFA To Allow Fans Into Stadium In Super Cup Tie

UEFA has announced that it will test run allowing fans into the stadium in the Super Cup tie slated for the 24th September in Budapest.

The European football governing body made the announcement on Tuesday, weeks after early indications.

The Puskas Arena in the Hungarian capital city has an over 62,000 capacity and will be filled to put to 30%, according to UEFA.

More than 18,600 fans are expected in the stadium for the Super Cup tie between Sevilla and Bayern Munich.

The UEFA Super Cup is a contest between the winner of the Champions League and the Europa League.
