126 New COVID-19 Infections Recorded, Total Now 58,324 With 1,108 Deaths

COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased to 58,324, as 126 new infections were reported on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on coronavirus, said 2 persons died of COVID-19 complications, while 72 patients recovered and have been discharged.

A breakdown of the fresh infections revealed the following; FCT (30), Lagos (24), Rivers (23), Ogun (13), Katsina (9), Plateau (9), Ondo (6), Kaduna (4), Kwara (4), Imo (2), Bauchi (1) and Edo (1).

As noted in the report, the nation has so far recorded 49,794 recoveries and 1,108 fatalities.
