Arsenal Football Club were off to a winning start in the English Premier League opener against London rivals, Fulham, on Saturday.
Their win comes 48 days after last season’s delayed conclusion.
The North London side hit the ground running and took the lead through Alexandre Lacazette in the 8th minute.
Debutant, Gabriel Magalhaes grabbed a goal in the 49th minute to make it 2-0.
Eight minutes later, Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a stunner to make it three goals to nil at Craven Cottage.
Fulham could not get a goal as Arsenal claimed a 3-0 victory.
Former Chelsea winger Willian provided a pair of assists on his debut.
Saturday’s goal made Lacazette the first player to score the opening goal of a Premier League campaign twice after the French striker also bagged the opener in 2017-18.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit at the top of the table with three points.
