COVID-19: Nigeria Records Zero Death, 148 New Cases As Infections Rise To 60,982

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported no death from the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

The centre, in its daily update on Thursday, also reported 148 new cases.

There was a decease of 31 cases from the 179 reported on Wednesday.

The NCDC also disclosed that 51 recovered patients were discharged across the country.

13 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new cases on Thursday.

Lagos State recorded most new cases with 66 followed by the FCT with 25 new cases.

Others are Oyo (13), Plateau (11), Kaduna (7), Rivers (6), Ebonyi (5), Ekiti (4), Ogun (4), Imo (2), Ondo (2), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), and Taraba (1).

So far, 60,983 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across Nigeria.

While 52,194 patients have recovered, 1,116 have lost their lives to the disease.
