COVID-19: Nigeria Records Zero Death As Cases Rise To 59,841 With 103 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported no death from the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria for a fifth consecutive day.

The centre, in its daily update, also reported 103 new cases.

There was a decease of 52 cases from the 155 reported on Wednesday.

The NCDC also disclosed that 148 recovered patients were discharged across the country.

12 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new cases on Thursday.

Lagos State recorded most new cases with 39 followed by Rivers State with 21 new cases.

Others are FCT (19), Oyo (6) Kaduna (4), Bauchi (3), Ogun (3), Imo (2), Kano (2), Benue (1), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), and Plateau (1).

So far, 59,841 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded.

While 51,551 patients have recovered, 1,113 have lost their lives to the disease.
