#EndSARS Protesters Donate Over ₦5.6m To Buy Prosthetic Legs For Two Disabled Persons

#EndSARS protesters protesting against police brutality across Nigeria, on Sunday, raised over ₦5.6 million naira to buy two prosthetic legs each for a woman and a man with one leg.

The lady, identified as Jane, had joined protesters in Abuja to march against rights violations and extra-judicial killings by men of the Nigeria Police Force.

The man, Charles Nnaman, on his part, joined protesters in Surulere, Lagos, where his prosthesis was allegedly broken by policemen.

A Twitter user, Nonso Egemba, with username, Aproko Doctor, had set up the donation link with a ₦500,000 target for Jane, who has reportedly been unemployed since 2013. But it was later increased to ₦1,500,000 to help with her other needs.
