Hoodlums Attack Lagos #EndSARS Protesters In Alausa

Hoodlums have attacked some Nigerians protesting against police brutality just outside the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex in Alausa, Lagos.

The protesters had besieged the gate of the complex to drive home their demand for total reformation of the Nigeria Police Force.

The attack has left many protesters injured.

One of the injured protesters, identified as John Kennedy, said he was going on his own when he was accused of being one of the protesters and was assaulted.

Earlier, thugs were seen being conveyed to Alausa in a government-owned BRT bus.

Thousands of protesters nationwide, who are mostly youths, have been demonstrating against police brutality perpetrated by the dissolved Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Despite the dissolution of SARS by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, the protests have continued.
