Hoodlums have attacked some Nigerians protesting against police brutality just outside the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex in Alausa, Lagos.
The protesters had besieged the gate of the complex to drive home their demand for total reformation of the Nigeria Police Force.
The attack has left many protesters injured.
One of the injured protesters, identified as John Kennedy, said he was going on his own when he was accused of being one of the protesters and was assaulted.
