Abigail Makinde, the mother of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has died.
She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday.
Mrs. Abigail was aged 80.
An official statement on the death of the deceased was still being awaited as of the time of filing this report.
Makinde had lost his father, Olatunbosun Makinde, a few years ago.
In July 2019, he said he imbibed his mother’s bluntness and straightforward character.
