Nigeria Records Zero Death, Lowest Daily COVID-19 Cases In Months

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases declined further as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 58 new infections on Sunday, the lowest daily count in over six months.

The NCDC report revealed that the fresh cases which were recorded in 8 states and the F.C.T, take the total confirmed cases in the country to 59,345.

A State-by-State analysis revealed the following; Plateau-18, Lagos-15, Katsina-10, Ogun-5, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ekiti-1, FCT-1 and Ondo-1.

The Centre for Disease Control, in its daily update, disclosed that 50 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country, indicating 50,768 total recoveries.

Also, no death was recorded on Sunday as the nation’s fatality cases stood at 1,113.
