No Death Recorded As Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 59,465 With 120 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 120 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

There was an increase of 62 cases from the 58 reported on Sunday.

In its daily update late Monday evening, NCDC disclosed that 183 recovered patients were discharged while no new fatality was recorded.

12 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new cases on Monday.

Rivers State recorded most new cases with 65 followed by FCT with 12 new cases.

Others are Ogun (9), Katsina (8), Anambra (7), Bauchi (5), Oyo (5), Nasarawa (3), Kaduna (2), Kwara (1), Taraba (1), Imo (1), and Delta (1).

So far, 59,465 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded.

While 50,951 patients have recovered, 1,113 have lost their lives to the disease.
