No Death Recorded As Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 60,430 With 164 New Infections

Nigeria has recorded 164 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure in its daily update on Monday.

According to the centre, 208 recovered patients were also discharged.

The country’s total fatalities from the disease remained at 1,115 as no new death was recorded.

14 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded new infections on Monday.

Lagos reported 64 new cases while the FCT reported 26 new infections.

Also, Enugu State reported 20 new cases with Kaduna and Oyo States recorded 11 cases each.

Others are Plateau (8), Ondo (7), Anambra (4), Nasarawa (3), Osun (3), Ebonyi (2), Imo (2), Benue (1), Katsina (1), and Ogun (1).

So far, Nigeria has recorded 60,430 cases of COVID-19.

However, 51,943 have recovered from the disease.
