In June, the APC NEC dissolved the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party which had been embroiled in a leadership crisis after a Court of Appeal upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the party.
The party’s highest decision-making body subsequently appointed Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, as national caretaker chairman.
