COVID-19: Nigeria’s Recoveries Cross 60,000 As Death Toll Rises To 1,158

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 94 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

According to the NCDC, there was a decrease of 206 cases from the 300 reported on Sunday.

The centre, in its daily update on Monday, also reported 159 new recoveries.

But four deaths from COVID-19 were recorded.

6 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new cases on Monday.

Lagos State recorded most new cases with 50 followed by the FCT with 24 new cases.

Others are Kwara (9), Edo (4), Kaduna (3), Ondo (2) and Plateau (2).

So far, 64,184 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded.

While 60,069 patients have recovered, 1,158 have lost their lives to the disease.
