Joe Biden Clocks 78, To Become Oldest President In US History

United States President-elect, Joe Biden on Friday clocked 78, exactly 61 days before he will take over from Donald Trump.

Biden, who has been elected the 46th president, will emerge as the oldest president in the country’s history when sworn-in in January 2021.

He will be displacing Ronald Reagan, who served as the 40th president of the US from 1981 to 1989. Reagan left the White House when he was 77 years and 349 days old.

The incumbent President, Trump, 74, throughout the campaign had argued that Biden lacked the mental acuity to lead the nation.

But he (Biden) had in an interview with CNN in September vowed to be “totally transparent” about all facets of his health.
