Nigeria on Sunday, November 1, 2020, recorded 111 new COVID-19 infections, which takes the total confirmed cases in the country to 62,964.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the fresh cases were recorded in 7 States and the Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T).
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that 2 persons died of COVID-19 complications while 115 persons recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres across the country on Sunday.
Giving a breakdown of the figure on a state-by-state basis, NCDC said Lagos State recorded 49 new infections followed by FCT which reported 30 cases.
Others are; Rivers (11), Plateau (10), Ogun (4), Kaduna (3), Oyo (3) and Osun (1).
Till date, 62,964 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria; 58,790 recoveries and 1,146 deaths.
