Nigeria on Saturday recorded 112 new COVID-19 infections, which takes the total confirmed cases in the country to 64,996.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the fresh cases were recorded in 14 States and the Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T).
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that no fatality was recorded as 93 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres across the country.
Giving a state-by-state breakdown of the 112 new cases, NCDC said FCT and Oyo State recorded 27 new infections each.
Others are; Bayelsa (9), Rivers (9), Delta (7), Edo (5), Kaduna (5), Ogun (5), Anambra (3), Katsina (3), Ondo (3), Osun (3), Plateau (3), Niger (2) and Kano (1).
Till date, 64,996 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria; 61,029 recoveries and 1,163 deaths.
