Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise By 300 To 64,090, Deaths Now 1,154

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases increased from 63,790 it was on Saturday to 64,090 on Sunday, indicating 300 new infections.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on Coronavirus.

According to the NCDC’s data, the nation recorded zero COVID-19 death, as a total of 26 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country.

Giving a breakdown of the fresh infections, the NCDC said Lagos State recorded the highest figure of the day with 255 infections.

Others are; FCT (27), Oyo (10), Kaduna (5), Ondo (2) and Kano (1).

As of Sunday, 8th of November 2020, a total of 1,154 persons have lost their lives to the virus in Nigeria, while 59,910 patients recovered.
