The National Assembly has forwarded the 2021 Appropriation Bill of N13.588 trillion to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Babajide Omoworare made the disclosure on Monday.
“The Appropriation Bill has been transmitted by the National Assembly to Mr President in conformity with the provision of Section 59 of the constitution.
“The bill is presently being looked at by Mr President and consequent action will be taken in due course,” Omoworare said.
Last week, the NASS passed the 2021 budget, raising it by N505 billion against the N13.082 trillion earlier presented by the Nigerian leader.
The lawmakers agreed on $40 per barrel benchmark price of crude, N3.324trn for debt servicing, N4.1trn for capital expenditure, N5.6 trillion for recurrent and N496 bn for statutory transfer.
