Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Hit 151,553 With 645 New Infections, Deaths Now 1,831

COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased to 151,5538, as 645 new infections were reported on Saturday.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on coronavirus, said 505 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres, adding that 18 fatalities were recorded.

A breakdown of the new infections revealed the following: Lagos-282, Ogun-72, FCT-50, Kaduna-33, Osun-24, Imo-23, Abia-21, Borno-18, Oyo-17, Edo-15, Nasarawa-15, Taraba-14, Ekiti-11, Ondo-11, Plateau-11, Kano-10, Rivers-7, Delta-5, Bauchi-3 and Jigawa-3.

As of the 20th of February 2021, a total of 1,831 persons have lost their lives to the virus in Nigeria, while 128,005 persons recovered.
