603 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded As Pandemic Tolls 28167, Deaths Now 634

Nigeria on Saturday, June 4, 2020, recorded 603 new COVID-19 infections, which takes the total confirmed cases in the country to 28167.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the fresh cases were recorded in 18 States and the Federal Capital Territory.

Giving a breakdown, NCDC said Lagos State recorded the highest number of the day with 135 infections, followed by Edo State which recorded 87 infections.

Others are; FCT-73, Rivers-67, Delta-62, Ogun-47, Kaduna-20, Plateau-19, Osun-17, Ondo-16,, Enugu-15, Oyo-15, Borno-13, Niger-6, Nasarawa-4, Kebbi-3, Kano-2, Sokoto-1 and Abia-1.

The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that 6 persons died of COVID-19 complications while 393  persons recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres across the country on Saturday.

Currently, Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases stood at 28,167; 11,462 recoveries and 634 deaths.
