A leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money service provider with presence in 14 countries across Africa, Airtel Africa plc, has announced a Nigerian, Olusegun Ogunsanya, as Managing Director and CEO.
Ogunsanya is to succeed Raghunath Mandava, who has informed the board of his intention to retire.
He is expected to join the Board of Airtel Africa plc with effect from 1 October, 2021.
Airtel Africa chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, said:
