Bablink Constructs Borehole For Northern Communities
Aledeh News reports that Warri-based Oil and Gas Services company, Bablink Services Nigeria Limited has constructed hand pump boreholes across various communities in the North.
Managing Director of the company, Bolaji Isiaka, said the company decided to embark on the projects as its corporate social responsibility across the country.
Isiaka stated this was because of the lack of access to potable water in the country, especially in the northern part of the country, where the company is currently carrying out civil works.
Mr. Isiaka said the company had previously embarked on similar projects and access roads to various Communities in some parts of Delta, Edo, and other states in the Southern part of Nigeria.
The Managing Director, however, urged the host communities to ensure the protection and proper maintenance of the borehole.
Bolaji Isiaka then called on other companies across the country to emulate such gesture, as that will help foster the much-needed unity in the country since the government can not provide all the social amenities needed.
