I was not born when Nigerians fought civil war but I read from history, I traveled wide and I was opportune to talk to people who witnessed it, those who fought and those who experienced it.
I have never experienced war before but I had experienced riot, I was around during the IJAWS and OPC riot, I witnessed the OPC and Hausa riot all in my hood in Ajegunle and I will never ever pray for riot talk less of war.
May the soul of the innocent people rest in peace and may the good God bless and open ways to the family whose properties were burnt to ashes.
I understand people can agitate, I understand the former president enacted freedom of speech, but is there truly freedom of speech? My answer is No.
Every speech you make, put in mind there is consequence attached to it, I took my time to look into the IPOB agitation and all I can see and say to Nwannekaenyi “Nnamdi” Kenny Okwu Kanu is to take it calm and easy.
From my personal research, the problem of Nigeria is not geographical but it has something to do with leadership. If I may ask, if the IPOB is given freedom today, will they move out of their present location? Hell NO!
So you can see that the problem is not location but the leaders which prompt me to ask this second question: “Every IPOB state who govern it? Is it Hausa or Yoruba”? Hell No!
Each state has a governor, each state has a leader and what do we see in each state? Embezzlement, Siphoning, corruptions and cabalism.
From my personal stand point, I will urge sanitization and agitation to start from each state, encourage your people to fight against corrupt politicians in your state, agitate for transparency then move to fight for freedom.
If care is not taken, the IPOB matter will be like the PDP moving to APC if peradventure they even win the struggle.
This is just my personal take.
