Buhari Commissions LUTH-NSIA Cancer Treatment Centre (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, February 9th commissioned the cancer treatment centre at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.

The cancer treatment centre is one of the National Sovereign Investment Authority’s health projects which sees it invest heavily in a hospital each in Lagos, Abia and Kano States.

Buhari was at Lagos on Saturday for his Presidential campaign and was at LUTH to open the centre formally.

Also present at the Commissioning was the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility will ensure Nigerians travelling abroad for cancer treatment will reduce, as the incidence of the condition keeps increasing.
