President Muhammadu Buhari today met governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday in Abuja.
The meeting was held to discuss the lingering crisis in the APC.
There have been battles for supremacy in recent weeks in the party leading to back and forth court cases, and actions.
The meeting was attended by Atiku Bagudu, Kebbi governor and chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum; Simon Lalong, Plateau governor and chairman of the northern governors forum, Abubakar Badaru and some others.
Since the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as Chairman of the party, there have been leadership tussles in the APC.
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan met the President on Sunday in Abuja and said the President will be at the Centre of resolving the crisis in the party.
