President Buhari, today, Sunday in London met with delegates from the Buhari Diaspora Support Organisation(BDSO).
Elated at the presence of the delegates of the organisation, Buhari expressed his willingness to work hard in order not to disappoint the Nigerians who have stood strongly abroad to give the nation a better image. The delegation was led by the Coordinator of the organisation, Mr. Charles Sylvester.
President Buhari said; “I am happy that people like you are here, on your own, defending the country. You have shown courage and sacrifice. I assure you that your confidence in us won’t be abused, we will do our best to justify it.”
The BDSO’s delegation meeting is one of several meetings lined up by the President in his visit to London. He is also expected to meet businessmen and discuss the future of Nigeria’s economy as it concerns foreign investment and future partnerships.
Earlier, President Buhari held a behind-closed-door meeting with national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
