President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the revised 2020 Budget of N10.8 trillion into law.
The revised budget was passed by the National Assembly, last month (June).
The signing took place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja at about 11.06 am on Friday.
According to the President, the budget had to be revised due to the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the nation’s economy.
He said ministries, department and agencies will be given 15 percent of their capital allocation by the end of the month.
Present at the signing of the document were Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.
Others are Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and other principal officers.
