German defender, Antonio Rudiger, have completed the signing for Premier league champions, Chelsea FC from Roma for a reported fee of £34 million.
Rudiger, was also reported to have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last year, but no transfer materialized.
The Blues, however never hesitated to move Rudiger as they reignited their interest and agreed a fee with the Series A side last week.
“It’s a great feeling because not every player has the opportunity to join a huge club like this,” Rudiger told the club’s official website.
“I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and I’m very proud to officially become a Chelsea player.”
The 24-year-old becomes the Premier League champions’ second summer arrival, following the signing of Willy Caballero as a free agent.
