A Non-governmental charity Organization (NGO), The NobleHeart Children Foundation (NHCF), will on Wednesday, 31 May, give out school uniforms, socks, sandals, vests, underpants and other school items to over 200 pupils of the Akoka Primary School, Yaba, Lagos.

The program titled ‘Dress A Child’ is anticipated to cater for over 200 pupils of the public primary school. The event is the second charity outreach to be organized by the foundation since their establishment last December, the first being an outreach tagged “Love A Child”, celebrating the yuletide season with pupils of Amosun primary school with inclusive unit for children with special needs.

According to the Founder and president, Mar’yam Thaoban, the foundation is a not-for-profit, Non-governmental charity organization that is set up to focus on promoting child welfarism in the country.

She said “this particular event is targeted at providing school uniforms, socks, sandals, vests and underpants to over 200 pupils of Akoka Primary School, Yaba, Lagos, in the wake of Children’s Day Celebration. And it’s important to us because it exemplifies our mission, to promote child welfarism through charitable means.”

“To God be the glory, we’re all set for the day and about 50 indigent pupils will get new uniforms, other pupils would get school socks, sandals, vests, underpants, books, pencils and other items, according to their needs.” she added.
