The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended all services requiring biometric verification indefinitely.
In a statement signed on Tuesday by JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board also suspended all activities requiring physical contacts in its offices and centres nationwide.
The move is in line with the professional advice of government on the safety of all persons in relation to the COVID -19 pandemic.
“This situation will be reviewed regularly and as soon as the circumstance permits, all suspended services would be resolved without delay.
“Meanwhile, the board has upgraded its ticketing online services which are available to attend to enquiries, complaints and to handle some services.
“Candidates can access the services on the board’s website www.jamb.org.ng and also through candidates profile.
“Enquiries and complaints can be lodged on support.jamb.gov.ng.
“The general public is assured of prompt and adequate services online,” the statement reads.
