Following a request made by popular journalist and social media influencer, Kemi Olunloyo that Nigerians should donate to her legal expense fund on Instagram, Nigerians have taken to micro blogging site, Twitter to air their opinions on the matter.
Olunloyo who was released on Tuesday, June 6 after spending eighty one (81) days in Port Harcourt prison, Rivers state, South South Nigeria, took to Twitter to thank those who called for her release.
“Thank u Released from prison today” she tweeted on Monday, June 5.
In the same vein the controversial US trained journalist called on her well wishers to donate to her legal expense fund on Instagram, adding that her trial will continue in two weeks.
” Day 5 of trial in 2 weeks. Pls donate to my legal expense fund on instagram” Olunloyo wrote.

Displeased with the request, Nigerians lambasted the social media commentator, with some calling on the journalist to seek help from her foreign friends.
