Footballers Pay Tribute To Late Leicester City Boss, Srivaddhanaprabh

Following the death of its Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a helicopter crash Leicester City’s players and staff have arrived the Wat Thepsirin Buddhist temple in Bangkok to pay tribute.

As part of the week long funeral rites which commenced on saturday, business and political elites from Thailand are also expected to visit the famous temple to equally pay their respects.



60-year-old Srivaddhanaprabha was among five people killed when his helicopter crashed shortly after taking off from the club’s King Power Stadium.

The death of the Thai businessman who  had become a beloved figure in the club threw Leicester City into mourning with club members expresing their shock through various social media pages.

Expected to attend the funeral include the club’s manager Claude Puel, director of football Jon Rudkin ,team captain Wes Morgan, defenders Harry Maguire, Christian Fuchs and Ben Chiwell, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi, James Maddison, Marc Albrighton and Andy King.
