Happening Now!: Ikorodu On Fire, Armed Residents Tarry Over Notorious Cult Group, Baddo


Report reaching ALEDEH, has it that the residents of Ogijo, Omoleye in Ikorodu area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria are currently having sleepless night over the recent attacks by a notorious cult group, Baddo.

Recall that the notorious cult group, killed a family of five at Ayelala, Olopomeji, back of MRS filling station (formerly Kadesh filling station) close to the Army Barracks, Odogunyan, Ikorodu on June 27.

Four of the five family members were found dead at the spot, while the last born died on the way to the hospital.

Following the recent attack by the group, residents of Ogijo, Omoleye in Ikorodu are believed to be on alert in order to prevent any future occurrences.

ALEDEH gathered from a reliable source that all landlords in collaboration with the vigilante and Oba in Ogijo, Omoleye in Ikorodu , placed an order that the residents must not sleep between 10pm to 4am every day until when the community head is assured that there is maximum security for the people of the community.

The source told our correspondent at exactly 12:25am that residents of the Ogijo, Omoleye in Ikorodu, have been awake to survey the area in order to prevent any further attack by the notorious cult group.

This the source said they achieved through the burning of tires, shooting of bangers in order to scare the notorious cultists away.

Our source said: “We have been awake since. This place is not safe. Our homes are not safe anymore”.

“All families are outside their houses as I am speaking with you. If they could attack in the afternoon we believe at night might be worse that is why we are outside”.

“Please tell the security agents to come to our rescue, we cannot run away from our homes because of Baddo”, the source lamented.

Speaking further, the source told ALEDEH, that members of the cult group sneak into people’s homes in the afternoon and that they kill by using machete  or grinding stones, adding that the notorious cult group does  not operate with guns.

ALEDEH gathered that the residents of Ikorodu area of Lagos now survey their environments before they go to bed every day even as they have provided machete for every adult in the family in order to counter these attacks by the notorious cult group.
