Nigerian comedian, Damilola Adekoya a.k.a Princess has distanced herself from the trending CCTV footage that captured Nollywood actor, Olarenwaju James Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha while making sexual advances to her foster daughter.
The video, which was released on Sunday by Punch News, showed Baba Ijesha touching the 14-year-old girl after the comedienne stepped out of her house.
Princess, however, in a letter signed by her lawyer Ibilola Subair on Sunday, denied giving her consent for the released video.
The letter reads: “We are solicitors for Princess Damilola Adekoya (comedian) hereinafter referred to as our client and on whose behalf we issue this notice to the general public.
“Our client disclaims any liability or responsibility whatsoever that arises from the publication of the video on the internet or any other social media platform showing Olarenwaju James Omiyinka (a.k.a Baba Ijesha) molesting our client’s foster daughter.
“Our client did not authorise the release of the CCTV footage by Punch Media or any other person whatsoever.
“Our client expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever for any loss, however, arising from the content of the CCTV footage released to the general public through Punch Media.”
