Arsenal have sacked Unai Emery as manager after a series of uninspiringly poor results.
The Spaniard has been replaced with assistant and club legend, Freddie Ljunberg in interim capacity.
The club announced its decision on Friday with Arsenal reaching a new low after losing to Eintracht Frankfurt at the Emirates in the Europa League.
Italian manager and former Juventus manager, Masssimiliano Allegri is being touted to take charge. Others are Wolves manager, Nuno Espirito and Hoffenheim manager, Nagelsmann.
