The Department of State Services (DSS) has released convener of the #RevolutionNow group, Omoyele Sowore after 124 days in detention.
According to the Sahara Reporters, which is owned by Sowore, he was released on Thursday evening after a court ruling ordered the DSS to release him in the next 24 hours.
The former Presidential candidate was arrested on the 3rd of August in a hotel in Lagos.
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ruled that Sowore should be released, for the third time, after the FG defied the previous rulings of the court.
Sowore is scheduled to appear in court on Friday for commencement of trial.
