Just In: Nigeria Records 416 New COVID-19 Cases As Pandemic Tolls 10578, Deaths Now 299

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 416 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday as the pandemic tolled 10578.

Lagos recorded the highest country total with 192 new cases, followed by Edo with 41 cases and Katsina with 33.

At least one case was recorded in 19 states of the federation, on the same day the federal government further extended the ease on its lockdown by four weeks.

The total number of discharged patients is currently 3122, standing for 29.5% of total cases while 299 deaths have been recorded.

Nigeria currently has 7157 active cases of COVID-19.
