Nigeria has recorded 595 new COVID-19 cases with 9 more deaths also reported by the Centre for Disease Control.
The disease has totaled 34854 cases with 14292 patients discharged. A total of 769 deaths have been recorded so far, while the active cases total stands at 19,793.
Lagos recorded the highest number of cases on Thursday with 156 cases. Ondo followed with 95 cases while Rivers also had 53 cases recorded.

Twenty-three states recorded at least a case of COVID-19, with over 200,000 tests conducted.
Death rate stands at 2.2% while recovery rate is at 41.00%. Nigeria has upped its testing with 53 molecular laboratories now in 31 states in the country.
