Nigeria has recorded 684 new cases of COVID-19, the Centre for Disease Control has announced.
The new reported cases has increased the total incidence to 23298, with Lagos recording the highest number of cases so far.
At least one case was recorded in 19 states of the Federation, with 259 reported in Lagos alone.
Nigeria’s total active cases now stand at 14491 cases after 8253 withdrawals.

The death rate currently stands at 2.37%, a significant improvement from the previous figures that have hovered around 3.0%. The rate of recovery is currently at 34.4% also.
Over 120,000 tests have been conducted so far across Nigeria.
